The National D-Day Memorial has recently created materials highlighting the contribution of Black military service members in, and leading up to, the Normandy invasion on June 6, 1944.  AARP Virginia invites you to join us for a guided walking tour of the D-Day Memorial, focusing on these somewhat overlooked aspects of history.  We will focus on these highlights as we honor Black History Month together. 

Tour Information:

• Please dress warmly, as the entire tour is outside. 
• The site requires participants to be able to walk independently or access the site using a wheelchair.
• Entry costs will be provided complimentary of AARP Virginia.
