AARP Highlights Southern AZ New Advocacy and Outreach Associate State Director

AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.

Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.

Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.

“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched. We are creating opportunities so people can age as they wish in Arizona, and we encourage the 50-plus community to Be the Change.”

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched.         <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched. We are creating opportunities so people can age as they wish in Arizona, and we encourage the 50-plus community to Be the Change.”<br><br></p></div>

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched.         <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched. We are creating opportunities so people can age as they wish in Arizona, and we encourage the 50-plus community to Be the Change.”<br><br></p></div>

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched. We are creating opportunities so people can age as they wish in Arizona, and we encourage the 50-plus community to Be the Change.”<br><br></p></div>

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>AARP Arizona is thrilled to announce the hiring of Angela Schultz as the new Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach for Southern Arizona. Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services. This background has honed her ability to navigate complex systems, build strategic partnerships, and identify community solutions.<br><br>“AARP is committed to enhancing its work to give a voice to southern Arizona's 50+ communities,” says Schultz. “I love being part of the wise friend and fierce defender movement AARP has launched. We are creating opportunities so people can age as they wish in Arizona, and we encourage the 50-plus community to Be the Change.”<br><br></p></div>

Angela works as a member of the state team in collaboration with the national office to promote AARP’s strategic issues, advocacy priorities, programs and activities. Angela comes to AARP with vast experience in advocacy and community engagement. “I am thrilled to join the AARP family and lead on community initiatives and advocacy efforts for southern Arizona's 50+ community, said Angela. Her work will include AARP Local Advocacy with Southern Arizona elected officials, community outreach, and fun-with-purpose events throughout targeted Southern Arizona communities.<br><br>Schultz is a seasoned social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering community collaboration to drive lasting social change. With extensive experience and passion for advocacy, she brings a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives to advocate for Arizonans as they age, promote inclusive policies, and engage local communities in meaningful ways.<br><br>Before joining AARP, Angela made significant contributions at a national nonprofit, where she worked with volunteers across the country to lead grassroots efforts that transformed end-of-life care through community education and legislative changes. Before this, she spent almost a decade as Director of Constituent Affairs working for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Arizona, where she played a pivotal role in policy development, community outreach, and constituent services.
