Caring for Caregivers Tax Credit Eligibility Tool

The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.

The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member.

• The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants.
• Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.  <br><br>The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member. <br></p><ul><li>The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants. </li><li>Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.</li></ul><p><i>Using the gray bar on the right side of the form below, scroll down the right side of the form and click "START NOW" to begin.</i></p><div class="Enhancement"   >

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.  <br><br>The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member. <br></p><ul><li>The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants. </li><li>Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.</li></ul><p><i>Using the gray bar on the right side of the form below, scroll down the right side of the form and click "START NOW" to begin.</i></p><div class="Enhancement"   >

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.  <br><br>The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member. <br></p><ul><li>The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants. </li><li>Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.</li></ul><p><i>Using the gray bar on the right side of the form below, scroll down the right side of the form and click "START NOW" to begin.</i></p><div class="Enhancement"   >

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.  <br><br>The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member. <br></p><ul><li>The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants. </li><li>Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.</li></ul><p><i>Using the gray bar on the right side of the form below, scroll down the right side of the form and click "START NOW" to begin.</i></p><div class="Enhancement"   >

        <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>The new Caring for Caregivers Eligibility Tool* walks family caregivers in Oklahoma through five questions to determine if they qualify for the family caregiver tax credit.  <br><br>The Caring for Caregivers tax credit is for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the unpaid family caregiver for specific services and expenses that are directly related to assisting the family caregiver in providing care to an eligible family member. <br></p><ul><li>The tax credit is capped at $2,000 per year for most participants. </li><li>Individuals caring for veterans or those with a dementia-related diagnosis will receive up to $3,000.</li></ul><p><i>Using the gray bar on the right side of the form below, scroll down the right side of the form and click "START NOW" to begin.</i></p><div class="Enhancement"   >
