Tips for Entrepreneurs Starting Out in U.S. Virgin Islands

Ever thought about running your own business? AARP Virgin Islands is hosting five online sessions to help entrepreneurs navigate the red tape. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:

• Strategic Planning: June 1
  
• Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. The first will be conducted by the lieutenant governor’s office; the second, by the territory’s Department of Labor.
  
• Small-Business Licensing: June 22
  
• Business Continuity: June 29

The sessions are aimed at both Virgin Islands residents and those living in the United States who are interested in moving to the territory. Registration is required. Find more info at aarp.org/vi, facebook.com/aarpvi, facebook.com/aarpviespanol and twitter.com/aarpvi.

All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. The first will be conducted by the lieutenant governor’s office; the second, by the territory’s Department of Labor.<br></li><li>Small-Business Licensing: June 22<br></li><li>Business Continuity: June 29</li></ul><p>The sessions are aimed at both Virgin Islands residents and those living in the United States who are interested in moving to the territory. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. The first will be conducted by the lieutenant governor’s office; the second, by the territory’s Department of Labor.<br></li><li>Small-Business Licensing: June 22<br></li><li>Business Continuity: June 29</li></ul><p>The sessions are aimed at both Virgin Islands residents and those living in the United States who are interested in moving to the territory. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. The first will be conducted by the lieutenant governor’s office; the second, by the territory’s Department of Labor.<br></li><li>Small-Business Licensing: June 22<br></li><li>Business Continuity: June 29</li></ul><p>The sessions are aimed at both Virgin Islands residents and those living in the United States who are interested in moving to the territory. Registration is required. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15.         <div class="RichTextArticleBody-body"><p>Ever thought about running your own business? <span class="Enhancement"><span class="Enhancement-item"><a class="Link" href="https://states.aarp.org/virgin-islands/?cmp=RDRCT-ICM-WELCOMEKIT-STATES-VI" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AARP Virgin Islands</a></span></span> is hosting five online sessions to help entrepreneurs navigate the red tape. All sessions are on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics are as follows:<br></p><ul><li>Strategic Planning: June 1<br></li><li>Naming and Registering Your Business: June 8 and June 15. The first will be conducted by the lieutenant governor’s office; the second, by the territory’s Department of Labor.<br></li><li>Small-Business Licensing: June 22<br></li><li>Business Continuity: June 29</li></ul><p>The sessions are aimed at both Virgin Islands residents and those living in the United States who are interested in moving to the territory. Registration is required.
