About UsLeigh Kendall, mother of four, dreamt of a place where adults and children could be equally happy and comfortable. She loved being with her children but longed for the days when she could enjoy a cup of coffee, read the newspaper, get a little freelance work done on the computer or have a conversation with another adult -and actually finish a sentence! And so the A Latte Fun™ Indoor Playground & Café vision was born.After taking a break from the corporate world to stay home with her third and fourth child, Leigh quickly realized two things: 1) Moms and babies needed to get out of the house daily (to maintain sanity) and 2) there were no places that she could take her preschooler and infant where adults and children could be equally happy and comfortable.That's when Leigh got to work. With endless encouragement from her husband, Clint, she compiled a wish list for the dream spot (along with input from other moms). The result? Great coffee drinks, tasty, healthy bites to eat, comfortable sofas and chairs, Wi-Fi, good music and cozy decor in a convenient, air-conditioned location with plenty to keep the children busy, clean, happy and safe.A year, and countless hours of work from so many wonderful people later, A Latte Fun™ Indoor Playground & Cafe was open!In the often unpredictable South Florida weather, it's opportune to have a place where kids can go have a blast and burn off some of that abounding energy. Grown-ups can either join in the fun, or sit back and enjoy a great cup of coffee, some adult conversation, catch up on a little reading, or surfing the internet, or just simply relax. Trained playground supervisors welcome the children and direct them in interactive, creative and safe play.Our 6,000+ square-foot playrooms are filled with toys and soft indoor playground equipment protected with extensive padding and no sharp edges to We do not offer video games, pinball-type games or any toys with a violent theme in an effort to promote education as opposed to non-productive overstimulation. A tremendous play area with an inflatable slide, foam pit, ground-level trampoline, "tree house", pretend area and separate fun space for infants and crawlers under the age of 2 is available, as well as a private room for birthday parties, private functions, playgroups, home-school classrooms and meetings.
