Big Foot Beach State Park

This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.

Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.

Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.

The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.

Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>

						<p>This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake offers wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails and picnic areas. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>
<p>Big Foot Beach State Park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Office hours vary by season.</p>
<p>Personal watercraft and motor boats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only.</p>
<p>The friends also sell firewood, bagged ice, t-shirts and miscellaneous items throughout the camping season. Vending machines are in the front picnic area and near the shower building.</p>
<p>Activities and recreation:HikingThe park has 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow. Most of the trails are relatively short and none are very strenuous.CampingCampgroundCampsites in the upper loop have a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. Fourteen of the sites have electric pedestals.SwimmingLake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water. Big Foot Beach has a 100-foot marked swimming area. No lifeguards are on duty.Boating, canoeing and kayakingCanoeing and Kayaking opportunities are available in Ceylon Lagooon and Lake Geneva. There are no rentals at the park, but you may rent equipment from a local vendor just south of the park entrance.There is no boat launch in the park. Two public launches are available just south of the park, in downtown Lake Geneva and in Linn Township. The park's northern shoreline is a good spot to anchor and recreate for the day.FishingFishing is available at Ceylon Lagoon. An accessible fishing pier is a short-distance from the disabled parking area. Fishing equipment is loaned free of charge at the office. A fishing license is required of anyone age 16 and over.Picnic areas and playgroundsBig Foot Beach State Park offers 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Volleyballs are loaned free of charge at the office. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas. If you wish to picnic with your pet, please ask at the entrance station for the designated area.Archery only hunting and trappingArchery hunting and trapping are allowed in the open areas of the park during the Wisconsin state parks hunting and trapping time frame. Gun hunting is not allowed in the park. Trapping is not permitted in closed areas as noted on the park hunting map or within 100 yards of any designated use area, including trails. Certain trap types are restricted on state park properties.Winter activitiesWhen winter conditions permit, park staff set a track for traditional cross-country skiing on the trails that traverse the east end of the park. Pets are not allowed on groomed ski trails. Winter Hiking and snowshoeing are allowed anywhere in the park.</p>		</div>
