Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania’s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. 						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>

						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>

Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. 						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>

						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>

Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. 						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>

						<p>Hyner Run carves a small valley from the surrounding steep mountains, creating a cozy, quiet place for outdoor adventures.The park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania&rsquo;s largest state forest. Hyner View State Park also is nearby.Hiking at Hyner Run State ParkThe 50-mile Donut Hole Trail System runs through the park. This moderate to rugged trail for backpackers can also be day hiked.The popular 4.1-mile Long Fork Loop begins at a kiosk near the pool.Picnicking at Hyner Run State ParkThe seven-acre picnic area contains 150 picnic tables with the majority of tables in full to partial shade. A limited number of grills are also available.Two picnic pavilions that hold 82 and 96 people may be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. Unreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.Stay the Night at Hyner Run State ParkCampingFlush toilets, warm showers, some electric hook-upsThe camping area is open the second week in April and closes in mid-December, unless otherwise posted.Each of the 30 campsites has a:Level padPicnic tableFire ringPets are permitted at designated campsites for an additional fee.The campground has:Warm showersFlush toiletsSeveral water outletsGarbage and recycling receptacles and a sanitary dump station are near the campground entrance.Swimming at Hyner Run State ParkAdmission is free to the large swimming pool and wading pool. The pools are open 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted.This activity or structure is ADA accessible.Fishing at Hyner Run State ParkHyner Run provides excellent trout fishing. Brook and brown trout are stocked annually and native brook trout inhabit its upper reaches.Numerous other mountain streams within a relatively short distance of the park provide excellent trout fishing.Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.Hunting at Hyner Run State ParkDuring established seasons, about 20 acres of Hyner Run State Park are open to:HuntingTrappingTraining of dogsCommon game species are:DeerBearTurkeyGrouseCommon furbearers are:BobcatRed and gray foxCoyoteRaccoonHunting woodchucks, also known as groundhogs, is prohibited. Dog training is only permitted from the day following Labor Day through March 31 in designated hunting areas.Thousands of acres of adjoining Sproul State Forest also are open to hunting.Snowmobiling at Hyner Run State ParkThe park is a trailhead for the 64-mile Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Trail and provides plowed parking and unloading areas, as well as unheated restrooms.Snowmobiles may be operated on designated trails and roads from the day following the last deer season in December until April 1, weather permitting.</p>		</div>
