Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest.  For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.

The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.

The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>

<p>Lavender Crest Winery opened its doors for the first time in November of 2004, introducing customers to an opportunity for a unique way to taste wine that is produced in the Midwest. &nbsp;For three years, Wilbert and Martha Rittmueller visited various Midwest and New York wineries.</p>
<p>The result of those visits was starting this wonderful business. After a long search for the right location, the perfect spot was found on a nine-acre tract of land a few hundred yards east of I-80 on Route 6. The location featured easy access to local people and interstate travelers, and provided the potential that was desired for the birth of the new winery.</p>
<p>The name was chosen for several reasons. Fond childhood memories of Martha's grandmother and a visit to a lavender field helped fuel the decision to enhance the experience the owners wanted to share. Thus, the name Lavender Crest Winery came into existence.&nbsp;</p>		</div>
