We have worked diligently to provide our patrons a Golfing Value Experience at WWGC. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of “Home Course” players, while our location along Michigan’s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program “As You Like It”, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players’ whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal. 						<p>We have worked diligently to provide our patrons a Golfing Value Experience at WWGC. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal. 						<p>We have worked diligently to provide our patrons a Golfing Value Experience at WWGC. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal. Memberships and our creative variety of League Venues give us a growing number of &ldquo;Home Course&rdquo; players, while our location along Michigan&rsquo;s Capital and Commerce Corridor, and our Outings Program &ldquo;As You Like It&rdquo;, have made Willow Wood the most productive and efficient Outing Site in lower Michigan. It all starts with a golf course.Willow Wood Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The 18-Hole golf course is situated on the lovely sprawling countryside three miles south of downtown Portland. Just minutes off both I-96 and Charlotte Highway, the course is thoughtfully carved out of the rolling hills and mature woodlands. It features creeks, wetlands, ponds, expansive meadows and gently contoured hills, with several pronounced elevation changes. It is evident that golf course architect J. John Gorney incorporated as many of these natural land characteristics as possible when designing the course. This diverse, naturally beautiful terrain lent itself most admirably to his grand vision, culminating in a wonderfully scenic and challenging, thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for players of ALL abilities.A practical and welcome change for most golfers from the excessively long courses that have become so prevalent, Willow Wood is a more sensible, commonly manageable 6,200 yards (back tees) golf course, emphasizing quality shot-making rather than exceptional length. Our positive feedback continues to indicate that this finds favor with nearly ALL. A complementing unique feature of the course, the real hallmark at Willow Wood, is the definitive variety of shots necessary, offering a nearly unparalleled chance to use virtually "every club in the bag." Several of the holes can be played with distinctively different strategies, depending on the players&rsquo; whims and/or the current prevailing conditions, and there is a tempting mix of risk/reward opportunities sure to test the mettle of ANY golfer. Even the most accomplished players have fallen in love with our scenic and challenging "little" championship golf course.Another appealing attraction for many is our smartly manicured and maintained Practice Area. It provides a pleasantly serene atmosphere ideal for working on your game. Should your game be in need of a little "special attention", we offer lessons for all skill levels helping you get the most out of your game.Constantly striving to improve the conditions and offerings of the club, from the golf course itself to the grounds and services we provide, is our Number One goal.
